OP-80 Punched Paper Tape Reader Connector cable and header (Reader Not Included)
OP-80 Punched Paper Tape Reader Connector cable and header (Reader Not Included) OP-80a Punched Paper Tape Reader Connector ribbon cable and header (Reader is NOT included)

This is a 16 way ribbon cable and header assembly which is suitable for connecting the OP-80a Punched Paper Tape Reader which can also be purchased from JMPrecision.

It is terminated at one end with a 16 way DIL header which plugs into the OP-80a interface connector and the other end of the cable is un-terminated so you can connect it using any method you choose.

Cable length is 50cm

This is a full kit of parts to construct an OP-80a reproduction tape reader.

It has been designed to look as close to the original as possible although the use of modern optical sensors provide a reader that is generally much easier to use.

If you have a punched paper tape reader (see our OP-80a reproduction kits listed elsewhere on ebay) you may need to punch tapes in order to make use of it.

Unless you also have a tape punch then this can present a problem.

We are offering a punched paper tape service.
