OP-80a Reproduction Tape Reader in kit form
This is a full kit of parts to construct an OP-80a reproduction tape reader.
It has been designed to look as close to the original as possible although the use of modern optical sensors provide a reader that is generally much easier to use.
A custom sensor array has been designed to mimic the appearance of the original but has tape guides to provide a much more consistent operation.
The kit contains all the parts required to complete the reader including a custom 3D printed case.
Full assembly instructions are provided although it is recommended that a copy of the original OP-80a manual is downloaded (this is available in the downloads section of this web site).
