Morse Code???

I am learning to speak, read, and write morse code. I saw this on TV and I want to know the correct way to do it. Let's say I am in a hostage situation my mouth is covered, so I start to blink in morse code. I want to know which eye, arm, or whatever represents a dot and which represents a dash. Do you know? Right is dashes? Left is dots?
